Using colour does something to your table. It makes your table stand out or blend into your interior.

Cool Scandinavian tints like blue and Grey are wonderful choices for summer. We then immediately get in the mood for a crisp White wine and a fresh fish from the barbecue. If you choose the same fabric in the fall (in this case Basic Plain Cotton) but an eggplant or honey colour, then you hit the nail on the head again, especially with a stew or game dish as the main dish. 

You can be inspired by the season, dishes, company and occasion when making a colour choice for your table linens. If you prefer your table to blend into the colour scheme of the rest of your interior, choose a shade that matches the colours already present in the room.

A fresh White Tablecloth is actually always a good choice. For a personal touch combine it White Tablecloth with, for example, glossy gold Napkins or Napkins in your favorite colour.

All Cottona colours can be mixed & matched. The possibilities are endless. We are often inspired by the colour wheel of Johannes Itten. In the colour wheel, red is opposite Green, yellow opposite purple and blue opposite Orange. Choose a colour for your Tablecloth and combine that with an accent colour for your Placemats and Napkins which is opposite that colour in the colour wheel. For example Royal Blue with Honey or Petrol with Pink

Neutral tones such as White, Sand, Beige, brown, Gray and Black combine beautifully with all colours. Our personal favorite are the tone-on-tone colour combinations where you combine different shades of one colour. For example Charcoal with Gray or Ivory with glitter Gold.
