Varying fabrics in your table decoration has an immediate impact on the atmosphere. Just like when making a colour choice, you can be inspired by the season, the dishes, the company, the occasion or the location.

Linen creates a warm casual style at the table. It brings an instant romantic country atmosphere into your home. A table like this invites you to spend a long time with family and friends. At Cottona you can choose between Pure Linen, made of 100% linen in the natural flax colour, or Hospitality Linen, available in 12 pastel colours and (uniquely) washable at 95 degrees.

Classic Damask is stylishly chic and timeless. Damask is the design classic among tablecloths. Every well-to-do household used to have a damask collection at home. Damask is back in fashion and appreciated for its beautiful satin weave and woven patterns. Cottona's Damask collection is available in white and cream white in plain and four designs.

Uni Cotton is the most practical fabric in Cottona's collection. Very suitable for everyday use. If you hang the fabric out slightly damp immediately after washing, it hardly needs ironing. The twenty colours in this collection can be endlessly mixed & matched.

With Shiny-Chic you can create a festive table in no time. This fabric has a rich satin sheen that immediately creates a glamorous atmosphere at the table. The Chiny-chic fabric is available in an elegant colour palette: ivory, gold, silver, bronze, ruby, graphite and onyx.

Sunlight and linen or cotton fabrics are not a good combination. Cottona's Outdoor fabric is UV-resistant and withstands European summers with flying colours. In addition, the fabric is treated with Teflon, which prevents stains from penetrating directly. So if a glass of wine falls over, you can just dab it up with a tissue. The fabric is made of 100% Dralon® and does not have the look of plastic or tablecloth but rather the feel of cotton. Available in cheerful plain, striped and floral designs.

Basic Uni Cotton, Pure Linen, Shiny Chic and Outdoor can be washed at max 40 degrees. Damask is washable at max 60 degrees and our Hospitality Linen is washable at max 95 degrees.

Uni Cotton has a weight of approx. 210 g/m2.

Hospitality Linen has a weight of approx. 230 g/m2.

Pure Linen has a weight of approx. 240 g/m2.

Damask has a weight of approx. 235 g/m2.

Shiny Chic has a weight of approx. 210 g/m2.

Outdoor has a weight of approx. 190 /m2.

In rooms that receive a lot of sunlight, we recommend the Outdoor fabric. Other fabrics may fade more quickly in the sun. Cottona's Outdoor fabric is UV-resistant and withstands European summers with flying colours. The fabric is made of 100% Dralon®. The material does not resemble plastic or tablecloth but has the look and feel of cotton.

Washable tablecloths have a PVC coating which takes the appearance of the textile and makes the tablecloth fall unevenly over the table. For these reasons Cottona does not have washable tablecloths in its collection. We have a passion for pure fabrics and we love it when a tablecloth falls beautifully over the edge of the table. We like the rich feel of real textiles and think it is important for the atmosphere.
